ORDER CODE: DLN8GBXA versatile 8-port DMX/RDM node with a dual Gigabit port switch, offering data splitting, merging, and softpatching.
The dmXLAN nodeGBx 8 comes in two variations: DLN8GBX (with user interface) and DLN8GBXSL (slave operation). Both nodes offer 8 fully programmable, isolated DMX ports and a dual Gigabit port switch.
Functionality includes data splitting, merging, softpatching, and backup when programmed with ELC's dmXLAN software. Every DMX port features a programmable RGB LED indicator, and the output is continuously measured to detect changes and errors, which are shown on the node's display and in the dmXLAN software.
The system supports full DMX redundancy by allowing the end of a DMX run to be fed back into a port configured for backup, ensuring a smooth and extremely fast takeover in case of any failure in the DMX line.
